About TYT Inc.: Innovating Quantum Dot Nanotechnology

TYT Inc. stands at the forefront of quantum dot nanotechnology as an intellectual property (IP) holding spin-off from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU). Founded in 2015 through government-backed startup initiatives, TYT has swiftly established itself as a leader in the field.

Since 2016, TYT has launched three joint ventures—QBright Inc. (2016), QD Star Inc. (2018), and Hsinlight Inc. (2018). These entities were later merged or integrated into the group, enabling a streamlined and cohesive approach to innovation. TYT’s core expertise includes technology transfer, collaborative research and development in nanotechnology (with a focus on quantum dots), IP solutions and licensing, as well as the supply of premium quantum dot materials.

TYT’s journey in quantum dot research began in 1998 at NTHU, progressing through the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in 2001, and resuming at NTHU in 2013. With decades of groundbreaking advancements and partnerships, TYT continues to shape the future of quantum dot technology.
